Small / Private Groups

At FlowState Divers, the safety and well-being of our divers are paramount, so we limit our groups to maximum of 3 divers / guide. This ensures that everyone is closely watched and paying attention to one another while diving.

For divers who are sufficiently certified, we offer the possibility to request a DPV (SUEX VR-X) for this dive at an additional 50EUR - fixed cost.

Dive Gear

We do provide absolutely the best quality equipment to all our diver included in the price. We have the highest quality BCD's and regulators available on today's market including brands such as Apeks & XDeep. In addition to the apparent life support equipment, all divers - by local Spanish law - must carry a surface marker buoy (SMB), compass, and cutting device on every dive. In case you don't have your own, we will supply you with these, included in the price.

Free Pickup

For your convenience, we offer a pickup/drop-off service to your desired location free of charge around the south of the island. In case you are outside the free transport zone, we will calculate a fair price upfront, based on the mileage. We are enthusiastic about capturing photos and videos of all dives, and you can access these at no additional cost after your activity.

Tenerife has a huge variety of hidden dive sites accessible from the shore but off-limit for ‘everyday’ divers with a single-cylinder configuration.

The Explorer program is a unique guided dive designed for real adventurers - for those who are up for real dive site exploration with extended bottom times using doubles - either sidemount or twinset. Please note that these dives stay within recreational limits therefore, we are not carrying a stage cylinder and nitrox fills are limited to up to 40% as your back gas.

Signing up for this program will require the participant to possess a qualification of using doubles or otherwise - being able to demonstrate their proficiency with the chosen configuration prior to finalising the booking.

Put simply, we cannot shout loud enough about how awesome Babett and Peter were at FlowState Divers, and how they made our trip a huge/massive/complete success.

365 Days of Diving

Located in the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Africa, Tenerife is the largest of the seven Canary Islands and is part of Spain. Due to the subtropical climate, it has warm temperatures year-round. Given the location of the island and its proximity to the Gulf Stream, it has regulated water temperatures with the lowest at 18 °C (in February) and the highest at 24 °C (in September). Generally, it’s suitable for diving any time of the year.

Marine Fauna

The waters surrounding Tenerife are home to a diverse array of sea creatures. The marine life here is unique and fascinating, featuring a combination of North Atlantic, Mediterranean, and endemic species. Divers can expect to encounter a variety of sharks, rays, moray eels, scorpion fish, and much more, as well as an abundance of invertebrates such as octopuses, cuttlefish, crabs, starfish, and many others. We have created a custom fish identification booklet to help you identify the various species of marine life you may encounter during your dives with us.

Dive Sites

Tenerife boasts a unique and mesmerizing volcanic topography beneath the surface. The island offers an array of excellent shore dive locations for divers of all levels, from shallow reefs stating at around ~5-10 meters to depths of over 100+ meters for deep sea rebreather enthusiasts. With our guidance, you will explore the best dive sites without the added complexity and discomfort that often comes with boat diving. Our shore dives are simple, easy, and direct ways to discover marine life and the unique volcanic underwater landscapes.
